GUEST & STYLIST SAFETY

All stylists and support staff are required to wear a CDC-recommended face mask that covers the nose and mouth in a snug manner for their entire shift. We do require that you also wear a well-fitting face mask during your visit. If you do not have one available, we have disposable face masks to provide you. It is necessary to use this face mask so that we may wash/color/cut your hair.

All staff will be wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the services being performed.

Reduced staff & guests … We will be limiting the number of stations in use at any one time. This will allow for much more separation than the minimum 6 foot social distancing requirements as well as limit everyone’s exposure to others in the salon. Each guest will receive a disposable or freshly washed/dried cape before any services begin.

Stylists will wash their hands frequently as well as before and after each guest service.

Hand Sanitizer will be provided at high-trafficked areas and at each styling station for both guests and staff to use.

We kindly ask that all guests wash their hands and sanitize their cellphone upon entering the salon. A sink and sanitizing wipes will be available at the front entrance.

Styling stations, chairs and shampoo units will be disinfected between all services. A marking system has been developed to ensure both guests and stylists can feel confident in knowing their area has been disinfected prior to their use.

Tools used for cutting and styling will be disinfected between all guests in compliance with NJ State Board of Cosmetology mandates.

All staff has been re-trained on proper sanitation procedures and guidelines.

All staff will perform a symptom check and have their temperature monitored prior to beginning their workday. Anyone with a fever, cough or shortness of breath will remain home for 14 days after being symptom free or cleared by a health care provider.

Guests are asked to remain at home when presenting with symptoms and/or fever. Please call the salon to notify us of your situation and to reschedule.
